Top Comments: Sunday Plain Brown Paper Wrapper Edition

I had cataract surgery 3 weeks ago with the implantation of a Toric lens in my right eye. My current eyeglasses have only one lens in them since the other was removed the day after surgery. I need only minor correction in my right eye along with a huge bifocal. I did get a new prescription late last week, but haven’t gotten out to get it filled yet — a more complex matter since my old eyeglass place (Sears Optical) went out of business and these are pandemic times.

So, there it is. I only have 1 eye seeing up close, so….plain brown wrapper is the best I can do for tonight.

Anyone with an “I go here and love it” referral to a national chain that’s good and won’t rip me off (I’m looking at you, Lens Crafters), please mention in the comments or a Kosmail.

I'd like to recommend this comment by citixen for a TC. It's a fair assessment of Biden, past and now, and highlights his demonstrated willingness to change. Citixen wrote, in part, "I think a Biden administration, with a safely Dem Congress, will surprise you." I completely agree. I hope we see Biden Unchained!!!
